Visiting Bremen

I'm in East lower tier :)

A victory against Stuttgart and 3 points vs. M'gladbach this Saturday would cement Werder's ranking. :svw_schal:

cheers mate - Stansted to Bremen tomorrow morning.
Dortmund v Schalke Saturday and Werder v Stuttgart Sunday - should be quality.
Oh, also going to Oberneuland v Bremer SV Friday evening in the Bremen Liga (5th tier) and a BECKS Brewery Tour

HAPPY DAYS

 Don't forget to have at least half an hour of sleep!
Do you plan on visiting the Christmas market in Bremen as well?

2-0, important win :svw_applaus:

next week big match in Munich where we have not lost in bundesliga since 2005. Bayern without Schweinsteiger

back after a great weekend in Bremen, took 8 Bremen virgins along with me and we had a top trip.
Great win and really enjoyed the experience, sat next to the Stutgart fans was interesting :D

Oh and we also ended up in the middle of the fight outside, the whole hooliganism aspect is very different than in England.

Anyway thanks to all the locals who made us very welcome.

yes the score should have been a lot higher, Rosenberg should have scored a couple!

It kicked off outside the ground a couple of hours before the game, a few hundred fans in total. Plenty of Police to mop it up.

Post from killie which should not get lost ;)

We are two lads from Wales who have tickets for the 19th October, where should we go for a few beers pre game for a great pre match atmosphere?

First weekend of Freimarkt my friend (http://www.freimarkt.de/) so plenty of choice. Try http://www.schlachte.de/en.html then get the boat along the river to the stadium or http://www.amadeus-bremen.de/ which is close to the stadium or if you can get into http://www.qype.com/place/1111622-Taubenschlag-Bremen you'll be on to a winner. Don't forget you can drink in the stadium too & for afterwards head back to the city centre for http://www.paddys-bremen.de/ or http://www.little-marys.de/

Just my opinion of course...the locals will be along soon with more I'm sure :daumen:

Hello Bremen. Sorry for writing in english. My friend and i are coming to bremen for the weekend of the world cup final in the hope of a Germany win. And we are looking for some help with the best place to watch the football, nights out :bier: and where to stay.
Thanks in advance

Welcome to this forum and enjoy Bremen!

You find some places to go in the post just above yours for a start.

Place to stay - I like Townside Hostel a lot. It's in the middle of the "Viertel" where most pubs etc. are and staff is really friendly.
