Important information regarding the international werder day!!

That sounds great! :applaus: There's coming some more swing into that one!

@killiefan: Could you please add an extra ticket for me?

Most important is that the internationals get tickets though, so all of us locals should take care to have a "plan B" in store (which means ordering ticks the normal way as opalo already said).

No chance of it dying ewr. I'm just back from a short holiday today. I think it looks like all that are interest have stated their intention for this time. Jermaine from the fan project has asked me how many tickets we would be looking for so I think we should give an estimate on numbers (those that have said 'yes') by the end of this month. Others could join after this date, I'm sure we could arrange something. We will also need to start talking about the venue & 'get togethers'.

:svw_applaus:

Maybe we should post a link to this thread somewhere else on this forum?
There might be international fans who know German and wander around on this forum but not always here (thinking of Mila/Melä for example).
Or maybe people who know internationals and could tell them?
How about that?

Ewr: I did a tunnbrödsrulle-stop in Jönköping a few weeks ago. Uh... could you bring about... 1000 of those? :D

Oh! Thanks for the Link Hansenbommel. This sounds great so I am interested! I just have to check a few things when I get back from work and will come back to you guys.

I'm sure I had sent a PN to loads of people who had posted on the 'where are you from' thread but I can't find anything in my outbox! Maybe I did something wrong? Sounds like there are more interested though which is good.

Mela........any FK Viking fans in your group?

Actually we're no group exactly. Unfortunately I only know one more Werder Fan here in Norway :( I would be glad if we were more, but it seems quite hard to find norwegian Fans. But I can tell my other friend about this meeting. I am sure he might be interested as well.

No FK Viking fan here though ;) I have to support my hometeam, IK Start, even though I am living in Oslo now.

I just checked the dates and it looks like they are fitting in my calendar. So count me in for now.

Cool, I'll add you to the list but let me know if there are more too.

I went to Stavanger for the UEFA cup game (Viking v Killie) about 10 years ago. Killie lost.......as they usually did in their second game each season in Europe :wall:

How many from this group are going to the Gladbach game next month? Small group of us coming over so would be a good time to meet & discuss the Augsburg game weekend

Hi @ll,

would love to watch the M'gladbach game live, but no chance

Actually I think everything points directly to the Mainz game in spring next year. Now we have plenty of time and we do need to wait for the scheduled date of the game when it comes to detailled planning. And we do need more input on what they are up to from the Fan Projekt, since they're going to be the host. :)

Sure, no problem, I'll go by car. Don't think they'll taste good when they arrive thou.

I found about this after a PM from you, so you did at least one...

Yeah, I'm afraid you're right :( :p
I guess I have to go ahead, buy bread at IKEA and do it myself again :p
I MIGHT just be bold and ask you about two or three other things since I guess Tasjas brother will be flying and can't help me with my addictions... :(

Great. My phone is at the repair shop just now :wild: but I'll give details when I get it back. We're flying in on Friday, home again on Sunday. Plenty of time for ......

We'll only be there on Saturday, but we're coming in from Paderborn since we'll go there the day before to watch the match on Friday night so we don't have a long way on Saturday and could be there couple of hours before the match :)

I will be at the Gladbach game as well (the main reason @killie is to meet you guys since I normally would not return to that stadium - I've seen too many bad Werder games there). I am flexible with times. We could meet at the stadium before the match but there is NOTHING around, i.e. no pub or anything close to that. So maybe it would be an idea to a) meet somewhere else before the match (but I don't know anything about the city of Mönchengladbach) or b) meet somewhere else after the match (e. g. Düsseldorf Altstadt).

Opalo: Just stay at home, we have a long way to go there and would HATE it to see a bad match just because of you :O :ugly:

We definitely can't meet anyone after the match, since we have to get back to Bremen that night.

@hasenbommel. No way - I really look forward to meeting the guys  And, sorry, probability that you will see a bad match is high - I have never seen a Werder victory in Gladbach...

As I said, I am fine with meeting up before the match, but we should really think about where to do that best since the stadium is in the middle of nowhere.

Opalo......you're a jinx!

My Gladbach friend says they have a fanhaus at the stadium that welcomes everyone. That could be a place to meet as we are staying in Cologne for the two nights.

Well, you could just meet with us an then go home :D

There must be somewhere to meet somewhere in the city?
Anyone ever been to Gladbach "City"? :D

Edit: Okay, I was second too late. Fanhaus sounds good. I'll try to get to know more this week :)

Not necessarily - Werder has never lost in Munich when I was there (and I regret that I won't be able to be there this year).

@Fanhaus (German only): http://www.borussia.de/de/fans-mitglieder/fanbetreuung/fanhaus.html
It seems to be a meeting point for Gladbach supporters, perhaps somewhat similar to our "Ostkurvensaal". I am thus not too sure how the people would react if we went there...
