Friendly games

Quite a few teams have training camps in Germany. There is one near Duisburg, Sportschule Kaiserau, I think the German National Squad is also spending time there. So maybe Valencia comes for a little tour of Germany.

The other reason is that Valencia might be a bit tight. Massive debts as far as I know.Maybe Germany is value for money.;)

I hope our squad will be for next season...:svw_applaus:

I just ordered two tickets for the away end for this match.

I just wanted to ask any participants in the English speaking forum who might go to that match. Maybe there is even a chance to catch up with a pint before that match near the Thames.

Anyway should be a blast to see our team's pre-season form in Fulham. :svw_applaus:

yes i am planning to go although i havent bought tickets yet. but because of my pathetic grasp of the german language i will probably get 'home' tickets. happy to meet up for a beer though!

Actually, today I went about to buy the tickets. First, I called Bremen because a lady at Fulham had told me that the away end would be sold from Bremen, the other day. So, the Werder ticket office told me that they have send their contingent of Werder tickets back to Fulham. So even as an away fan you can get them there. Should be no problem then. Mention you are an away fan and Werder told you that they had sent the contingent back. So all sorted, just hope I have got the right tickets.

;) :svw_applaus:

Should be a blast...

Do you think I will still get a ticket on the day of the match? Let's say one or two hours before the kick-off? I'll be in England to do a work experience in August but I don't know whether I will get the day off. If I do I really would love to go to the match because I think the stadium of Fulham is amazing. Would be nice to meet you.

Hi Guys,

Werder is selling tickets for the away stand since last Thursday at EUR 20.00 each (original tag is GBP 15.00) .
There should be plenty of tickets available even on match day.

See you then on 07th Aug !

Let me know if you can attend the match. If so, we should meet up. Should be a fun day out. :tnx:

Well I am planning on going too. Been supporting Werder since 2002 now. I follow Brentford in England so to go to a game at Craven Cottage is gonna be hard for me, bearing in mind Fulham are one of our rivals. This will be the second time I will have seen Werder in England, the last, being at Chelsea a few years ago in the Champions League. Lebanslang Grun Weiss:svw_applaus:

Should be a good day out in Fulham. Nice to see so many followers from the UK. Lebenslang Gruen Weiss!

First half was great, some good football. In the second half the team collapsed after conceding the first goal. Too many defensive frailties. Well, was a fun day out but the result was a bit embarrassing and maybe serves as a wake-up call. :svw_applaus::svw_schal:

May the games begin next season.

@ Tractor Boy, sorry if I missed meeting you around the ground. Hope you felt the trip down to London was worth it.

Yes had a great time. Took lots of photos of the game. Anyone know the best way I can make them accessible to the forum to see? photo-bucket or something?

I have seen the highlights on sky sports news a few times since. Very upsetting to see Alex Ferguson lurking around! :wild:

Anyone heading over for the Memorial Trophy on 23rd July? Long drive from Edinburgh but we're looking into it.......:svw_applaus:
