International Werder Fan Weekend - April 28-30, 2017 in Bremen

I can't explain, it's just the atmosphere, a lot of security, sometimes it get's dangerous, some people a really creepy. Plus I'm used to be home 10 minutes after the end of the match. There's nothing more depressing than a 1,5 hour train ride after a lost game. If they play in Bremen and lose, I just go home change my werder jersey to a neutral one...done. :grinsen: Anyway, it's fine with me....

Hello guys,

Jermaine asked me to infrom you, that the next International Werder Fan Weekend will be during the game against Bayern. That is the good news. The bad news is, that this time you need to buy the tickets. Jermaine will talk to the ticketing about the ways you can do it and inform you asap. But so you can plan already, he wanted to communicate the date.

Greetings,
Hanna

Excited! Hope I can actually make it as I have no plans for the future yet, but I'll try my best.

Edit: Jermaine just added on Facebook that it is likely that anyone on the list for the IWW will get a priority in terms of ticketing, so we will have to by the tickets but will (hopefully) be guaranteed tickets. Which is a bit of a relief, because in my experience it can be difficult to get tickets for Bayern. ;)

Being a newbie I would be grateful if someone would be kind enough to give me an overview of the IWF w/e and what is required to attend.
Many Thanks

Friday - get blootered in Paddy's
Saturday - usally some activity in the morning like a city tour (possibly a boat trip to the stadium for the game after) then watch the game. Saturday evening more getting blootered or retiring early to fall asleep (note that I added this bit myself before any of you bampots got your neb in :) )
Sunday - this can vary. Previously there has been groups lunches, meeting some players, watching the U23's, stadium tour, blind football.

The main criteria is to be a Werder fan I guess. If you keep an eye on here
you'll be kept up-to-date with what's happening. Other than that if you know anyone else that goes & are friends with the on fb you could get in on the Closed Group there. I suggest you get in touch with Jermaine (Eniamrej Eneerg on werder.de forum) or Hanna (Naramulka on werder.de forum)

Do a friends request on https://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/schottisches.werder if you want too :daumen:

Thanks for that Killiefan, too soon to be able to make a definite decision but I will be in Bremen on the weekend of the 7th February so hopefully will be able to get tickets to attend the match

Apply through Werder.de or just phone up for them when they become available. Most (if not all) of the phone operators speak English & you can collect the tickets from the portacabins in front of the main stand on match day. Just remember to take ID

Hey Guys, I'm sorry you didn't hear anything from me in the last times, but the plans for the IWW 2015 are going on!

Although I can't give you the accurate timetable of the entire weekend, here is a small list of activities we are planning for you:
_______________________________________

Public Training Session

Guided Stadium-tour

Brunch in the city

Trip by ferry boat

Watching Werder against Bayern Munich

Watching a Werder Handball-match

Lunch at "Platz 11"

Watching Werder U19 against Wolfsburg

any more suggestions?

The IWW will last from Friday till Sunday. It depends on the scheduling, if we can do all activities.

The get together at Paddys is not a specific part of the program but I'm sure we'll all meet there at friday or/and saturday evening/night

So now it's time to register yourself! Please send me a Mail (jermaine.greene@werder.de), if you want to take part at the IWW. I'll inform you about the handling with the tickets as soon as I can!
