No, they changed the law while I was 17, out of the country and had no idea! :unfassbar:

I turned 16, bought beer and wine in Germany, went to America, didn't drink for a year and turned 17 during that time, went back to Germany and obviously had no idea about the law having been changed. So I went to buy some beer, got ID'd, didn't get it and possibly started and agrument with the cashier, claiming she couldn't count... :ugly:

...got ID'd on the last German party I went to. Thanks... I'm only... 26...

When I was about 25/26 A cashier Id`d me for I was going to buy a bottle of booze. Her Collegues (is that the right word?) all started laughing.
Same happened to a mate of me for about a year. He was the same age then me when this thing happend to me.

Maybe he was afraid about you being in "training".

Hahaha, well I AM in college, so I've had my fair share before 21.

You know what makes this worse? I just rembered I wished you a happy birthday.....& seeing all the stuff about you being 21!!!!

Ouch Killiefan. :p

Try explaining that to people if you are an 18 year old in German in the US :p

I've heard so many stories of Germans coming over and getting into trouble with liquor stores because they were only 18. 21 is such a ridiculous age.

Hello everyone :) Here the official program for the international werder weekend 2013! https://www.dropbox.com/s/76ro07q3i3710va/Program_IWW.pdf

:daumen: Great!

:D When I read stuff like that I feel remotely remembered on National Lampoons's Animal House.

Yeah it is, but you'd expect people to know about it when thex travel to the US ;) Though I have to say that I didn't know you weren't even able to go inside a liquor store, I accidentially did (and I was only 16!), because they sold sodas as well and I wanted get one and no-one noticed, besides my friend who rushed me out in a frantic panic when he realised I had entered the liquor store

I really would have liked to see football on the programme as well, but Hanna said we are having some sort of 'Olympics' so perhaps that's a nice substitute? :)

Guys, I have a question to the locals living in Bremen - 2 guys from Belarus (speaking english and some german) are asking if there is a possibility for couch surfing for the international werder weekend. as nobody asked us this before, we didn´t searched for such volunteers. Maybe someone has a big couch at home or knows some Werder fan, who would like to get to know new people?

Aaaaand the IWW is.... THIS week! :applaus: :applaus:

Who else wasplanning to hit training and the Fanshop (amazing sale offers at the moment!) on Friday?

Anybody here knows, what time is the start of the training on friday?Maybe we will attend, if we would take off early enough.

See you at Paddy's anyway:bier:

Ambitious target, but it might be a motivation to cycle fast? =)

I'm not going if Benny isn't going.....one for all.....

Ahh, Mareike was just kidding, in fact she has a genius plan worked out that involves disguising Benni with fake Smagodis-teeth, right? :unfassbar:

I think if we all threaten to boycott Paddy's if they don't let Benni in that might work as well though? :D
