Important information regarding the international werder day!!

Anyone who knows the situation on match days at the train station?
Is it like Gelsenkirchen where you get picked up like a criminal when coming put of the train or is it more like Bielefeld, where noone cares?
I guess I'll just put away my Wederstuff as usually just not to get picked up immediately
Well, I guess it won't matter anyway, when we come in a train from Paderborn a couple of hours earlier :p
What time do you guys want to meet aproximately? :)

No, it's not like in Gelsenkirchen, no worries... I don't think that there is anything similar to Gelsenkirchen anywhere else in Germany.... However, I have never gone to the stadium from Mönchengladbach Central station, so I don't know how it works. We always go to "Rheydt" - the shuttles to the stadium are waiting immediately next to the platforms, so it's really easy...

I'll ask Jorg again about the best place to meet in Gladbach, train station may be best though. Bremen is Jorg's favourite away day, he travels 7 hours on the train from Saarland! He probably knows Bremen as well as any local.

22 sleeps til we arrive.......:D:beer:

I think the fanhaus is a good option in terms of location since it is within walking distance to the stadium. And I don't think it will be that difficult to find - there are not many buildings close to the stadium :D If we meet up in the city we'll certainly have crowded shuttle buses when we want to go to the stadium and the trip from the city (and also from Rheydt) is quite long. So if the guy says that we'll be fine in the fanhaus I'd prefer that to meeting up somewhere in the city.

Yeah, maybe the train station is the best idea, I guess you guys have to go through there anyway? And then we just worry from there :p
We can be at the train station basically any time, there is trains from Paderborn coming in every 30 minutes :)

OK, if the majority votes for Gladbach main station that's also fine with me - even though I am not too fond about the shuttle transfer/crowded buses from there to the stadium later on... ;)

Well, it does not matter to me. We have to pass Mönchengladbach main station (and get out of the train there) nonetheless, so I can as well meet someone there :p

Crowded shuttlebusses don't matter to me, there's worse than that. At least for me a decision won't depend on that.

Important question now is: How is the fanhaus in Gladbach? Is it a good place for a get together? We might want to talk a bit and stuff, if you know what I mean ;)

I will ask a guy at work next week whether he knows something decent in the city. I've never been there even though it is not far from here... ;)

I've just checked the Gladbach web site. There's buses to the stadium from the central station every five minutes and the ride is supposed to take 15 minutes (but can take longer easily; there's always chaos close to the stadium).
And at least 15 minutes in a crowded bus can be endless (that's at least the experience I have made...;)).

BTW: Once we've agreed upon a meeting time, I could drop on the train that you are on - any train you're taking will stop here...

Yeah and maybe we can also find someone who can tell us more about the fanhaus? That is also really fine for me. I saw that there is also trains going from Paderborn to Reydt without having to get out at the main station.

- So I can meet at the main station and find a place in the city.
- I can also go to the main station and go to the fanhaus together from there.
- I can ALSO go to the main station and find the fanhaus by myself.
- AND I can also go to Reydt directly and meet there to go to the fanhaus.
- PLUS I guess I would be able to go to Reydt and find the fanhaus from there by myself.

So I think it is, as Merte would say, really "Humpe" to me as long as we don't meet in Samoa.

Maybe Jorg knows more about the fanhaus? Because I think we'd not much earn from it if it's just super crowded and loud? It looks good from the pictures I am finding though... ;)

So... anyone who finds out about the places in Gladbach just shout it out real loud in here and then just tell me at what time I have to suddenly appear out of thin air with fire and balloons and all that stuff. :applaus:

This from an email today from Jorg...

Please also note - NVV offer a special service. Their bus shuttle service from Rheydt railway station will call at the Dahlener Heide bus stop right outside the FanHaus. Just ask the driver or travelling Borussia support. And stay next to the doors ...
