Bus / coach hire

Good evening gents from Scotland. In sept i'm returning to your lovely city for the 3rd time :daumen: and i need help with local companies with regards to bus / coach hire.

At the moment we have 27 in our party. However this might increase.

We're looking for airport transfer (we arrive Fri 5th around 1pm and leave 09.30am on Monday 8th). Staying at the IBIS Alstandt

Then we need the bus again on Sunday 7th to take us to Dortmund around 11.30am then back after the game to the IBIS.

Many thanks :bier:

Thanks, last twice we've just jumped in a taxi. Thought bus / coach if we can get a deal for both airport transfer and our day in Dortmund

Delboy...

It's less than 2 hrs direct on the train from Bremen to Dortmund & it's also ok to :bier::bier::bier: on the train. If the weekend passes are valid 5 guys can travel on one ticket that costs about 40 euro (if I remember rightly)

Alternatively try sending a PN to stonesstonie on here as he is part of a fan club from outside the city that use bus travel to all their home/away games so may know someone that can help. I'll put something on our fb page too. A fair few locals are 'friends' so lots will see it at the same time.

The direct train Bremen-Dortmund (Intercity or Intercity Express) is less than 2 hours, but the 42-EUR weekend tickets are not valid.

With the weekend ticket you can only use regional trains and have to change trains. It will take over 3 1/2 hours.

Many thanks for reply's guys

The reason for the bus is mainly for getting back to hotel on the Sun. There is a train about 3am which is a bit late.

Fancied a few hours in bed b4 we have to get up for the early morning flight on the Monday
